Had a rat in the loft, we made the mistake of putting our own poison down which killed the rat and left it rotting in the top of our wall above our bedroom. The stench was horrific and meant we couldn't use our bedroom with two weeks until Christmas. Called Ian at PestEx, he came over next day, located the dead rat and found where it got in so I can block any future visitors. Me and my wife can't thank you enough Ian, you literally saved our Christmas. Very much appreciate the help and advice on stopping any future issues. Totally recommend PestEx for prefessional and friendly service at a good price. Also if you have a rodent get in do yourself a favour and go straight to the professionals. You don't want a dead animal somewhere you can't retrieve it. Thankfully we got lucky. ~ Stylesy

We would highly recommend Ian for any pest control. Having initially called him to report a problem, Ian was able to come for an inspection very quickly. Ian is extremely knowledgeable and he fully explained what the solution would be, including his next steps. We contacted Ian over the Easter weekend as we identified an issue that we needed help with. Ian responded to our website query straight away even though it was a bank holiday, and was with us first thing on Tuesday morning to do an inspection before coming back on Wednesday to complete the treatment. I called PestEx, they came out the next day and identified the problem as fieldmice in the suspended ceiling void. They advised against using poison bait traps as we have cavity walls and the decaying bodies would cause problems. They advised using traps, and this solved the problem immediately as we had two mice in the traps the following day. PestEx have suggested a follow up visit in two weeks time to check for any further occurrancies. Very thorough, very professional. Good work PestEx. ~ Ken H

Ian was very easy to contact and made an eary date for a visit less than three days which is excellent. He spent time exploring the loft and examining the findings, he was happy to explain his strategy. he reviwed the exterior parts of the loft, three floors up, he surveyed with a drone and provided detail pictures to hand to my builder. All in all a pleasant experience, with a defined next step and a clear conclusion theat we had a bat present. ~ John W

Called Ian on a Saturday lunchtime as I had a large aggressive wasp in my bedroom. Needed some help getting it out as I'm allergic to stings. Ian was incredibly understanding and arrived within half an hour. We then could not find the wasp but he persevered and eventually found it in the plant pot! Ian managed to remove it swiftly and safely. Excellent customer service, highly recommend and will definitely use again. ~ Martha W

We discovered we had a Rat problem. Contacted Ian as he was local to us. He came round and spent a long time looking all over the house to find the ingress point. Once found, he then traced the rats progress through the house, and determined the best places to set traps. We wanted traps as wanted to find body and not have a dead rat hidden in the house. Ian was very conscious we had a dog so took all precautions to protect him. It took 5 weeks (through no fault of Ian) to decide that the traps weren't working, the rat was scared of anything new that was put down, and that's with video evidence. We ended up deciding that poison was the way to go, we were told that this would be a sure fire solution. It was, within 4 hours of poison being put down, the rat had taken it all. since then there has been no evidence of rat, and we hope with some guidance from Ian we can stop any more from coming into the house in the future. His manner was very professional, and he knew his pests. Hopefully we will never have need of him again, but if we do, he will be our first port of call. Contacted Ian at PestExUK on Thursday evening to advise of a cluster fly infestation in the loft, by Saturday morning he had applied the treatment to remove them all and as a bonus removed a queen wasp that had found its way into there too. Very friendly, very accommodating, very professional. We'll certainly be using Ian for any pest problems in the future. ~ Richard A

Ian came along to check on some rodent evidence and thoroughly checked our entire property. He was super professional and very friendly at the same time.
